Safety Squat Bar:
Safety Squat Bar is an awesome tool to change the loading parameters of the squat.
Because it brings the center of gravity of the weight higher up the back, the bar feels as if is between the high bar back squat and a front squat if you are holding on to the handles on the bar.
This is more difficult than a regular back squat. Now, if you hold onto the handles on the rack, and keep the back perpendicular to the floor, with a 90-degree angle in the hips, knees, and ankles, you can off-load the lower back, and put the stress on the quads.
If you assume a regular squat stance with your handles on the rack handles you can load up for max weights.
You can do more weight this way, especially because you have a 4 point contact.
So by working the Safety Squat bar in with front and back squats, you can effectively work a full range of difficulty and load of squats, will reduce the chance of overuse injury or overtraining.
Comes standard with handles welded on the bar, Lock on handles for the rack are extra.
