I just recently purchased a Sorinex War Hammer to include in my strength and conditioning training and this War Hammer fits the bill perfectly!
The powder coating allows for a great gripping surface!
The biggest advantage to the War Hammer over conventional sledge hammers is the round globe doesn't torque with your hits as often times with a conventional sledge. This gives one a peace of mind that they won't tweak or injure their wrists when swinging the War Hammer!
The next advantage is it's loadable! One can use various media for fill material such as lead shot, steel media, sand, etc.
Before one can complain about the price one must consider ALL the advantages and the fact that you'll never need another Hammer. You can have numerous Hammers in one with its loadable feature!
This weekend I used the War Hammer on a half tractor tire and did some sled training as an added benefit to my overall conditioning training!
BEST Hammer I've ever owned to date and I don't see ever purchasing another Hammer in my lifetime!

Nothing like throwing a wrench, or in this case a War Hammer, into a workout. With the availability to adjust weight and the reassurance that it will not break this will be the last hammer you will ever buy. This isn't just for hitting a old tire either, cleans, presses, snatches, shoulder mobility and much more can be utilized. First product I've bought from Sorinex and after seeing first hand their customer support and quality products I see more Sorinex equipment in my future!

I have sledgehammers from 6 to 20 LBS. I have worked my way through all of them. The 20 pounder was getting too light. I had been looking for a loadable hammer with great quality and at a great price. The War Hammer fit the bill! After using the War Hammer it has exceeded my standards. The War Hammer is a beast. I talk the War Hammer up as well as Sorinex to anyone who will listen. If I could give a rating of 10/10 for the War Hammer I would but, the highest the scale is 5, so 5 is what the War Hammer gets. Thank you for making great products.

The Sorinex War Hammer is for real! One of my first functional fitness tools was a 10 LB wooden sledge and old tractor tire a few years back. I beat that tire and beat that tire till a buddy had his sledge break and fly back and almost take his face off. That really freaked me out and the 10 LB sledge was not that taxing unless I go really high reps. The War Hammer takes things to a whole new level. I added sand and bbs to get it to 25 LBS. I just finished a 20 min AMRAP of 20 tire strikes followed by 20 double-unders. The heavy sledge was really taxing. The War Hammer is amazing solid. I thought the price was a little high, but a cheap 20 LB wooden sledge goes 60 bucks so considering the quality and versatility it is priced right. This thing is indestructible. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed!
