Conjugate Training system for my training in general. Regardless of the

believe that an organized variety and focus on

Area(s) of expertise: Strength and Sports Training. With 2 years strength
coaching experience at the Division 1 Collegiate
level as well as 12
years in the personal training/club management I have been exposed to
many training

performance enhancement. What got you into weight training /
what is your training past: At 12 years old and being a
smaller kid I ended up getting into weightlifting just as a means to
grow.
(I was 5' 8" tall and 100lbs) By pure luck a weightlifting club
trained on a platform in my high school
weight room. I got into
competitive weightlifting at the age of 15. After that lifting was my
thing, it is the
reason I chose exercise science as my major in college,
the reason I started personal training at the age
of 18 and the reason I
chose my overall career path. There is no aspect of strength training
that does not hold my interest to some extent. Olympic weightlifting,
powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding, I believe we
can learn from every
facet of the strength world. Current Goals: As a new parent and working with Sorinex Exercise Equipment my
goal is to keep in good condition so I
can run around with my little boy
for many years to come as well as keep in the know of new training

involved in so many different strength sports, martial arts, coaching
and training areas I bring
a well rounded look at the Strength, Health,
and Fitness industries. Aside from that, awesome cooking/grilling
skills. _______________________________________________________________________________________
Kevin
Kamphouse (KAMP-house)
Nicknames: Danny Noonan aka Rabid Tooth aka The Juggler aka
Spicoli
Age: 27 Height: 6' 6" Bodyweight: 255lbs
Athletic experience: Three sport athlete
in high school, lettering in all three from sophomore year on. After taking trips to various Ivy's and Pac-10 schools decided to sign with the Cornell University football team. Financial and familial considerations eventually persuaded him to stay close to home and accept a full scholarship at Western Washington University.
Lifting Style (Current): An
amalgamation of effort-based and results-oriented training styles. I
have been venturing further and
further into the world of CrossFit with
my training focused largely around metabolic conditioning and basic
Olympic lifting.
Area(s) of expertise: Training for
athletes with emphasis on explosive movements and speed development.
What got you into weight training /
what is
your training past: After 20 years of headlong immersion in
athletics I decided to take a few years off to travel and see the
world a
bit. I have been having a good time shaking the rust off lately with
focused, concentrated effort.
I have always responded well to the team
aspect of training which is why I really enjoy community-oriented
and
the cohesive feel of small training environments (ie CrossFit, Athletes
Arena, group classes, etc).
Current Goals: I would like to focus on being able to compete in the Carolina
regional CrossFit games next year while at
the same time begin to dabble
in the world of Highland Games. In the meantime I would like to
concentrate
on taking one day at a time by working to expand my training
knowledge and personal relationships in the
wide world of human
performance.
Performance PRs: Bench - 345lbs Squat - 455lbs Dead - 410lbs Clean - 325lbs Snatch - 205lbs Overhead Press - 210lbs
Any other thing you want to mention: I enjoy sharing stories (there are a few that involve monkeys,
hurricanes, and skilled veterinary work) and meeting new people
everyday so if you are in the South Carolina area please stop by and BBQ
some gator with us.
