My Sorinex NP Bench came in a couple days ago and I'm really happy with my purchase. I used to have the Nebula 6028 Phase Bench w/ lock-in spotter stands (excellent bench), but I upgraded.
- 12" width is awesome. - Upholstery is really grippy - Rolls out easily - Solid construction. Very stable. - I don't notice any wobble during use in an incline position. - Pad gap is negligible. It's about 1.5", but there's a slight slope to the padding, so from peak to peak, it's more like 3". That being said, it's so shallow, it doesn't bother me if I sit on it. The nebula's gap was really noticeable and was one of the reasons I sold it.
I'm really happy with the NP and that says a lot, considering my last bench was a 150# Nebula that had all sorts of adjustment options. Adjustments I never used, but still, it had options. The NP is wider, taller, longer, grippier, and has the angles I actually use, which is enough for me.

Short gap, wide back, plenty of angles, easy adjustments, and a grippy upholstery. I used to have a Nebula bench with a ton of adjustments, but upgraded to the NP. The Nebula had more adjustments, but they never got used. I was concerned the spotter steps would get in the way, but they don't. You'll feel rock solid doing any sort of press from this bench.
